Sierra Leone's Invisible War refers to the battle against the Ebola
virus. People here say that life under the threat of Ebola is similar
to life during the civil war, but with a difference. The enemy is
unseen but just as deadly.
We are two professors at
American University's School of International Service, in Sierra Leone
for a short time, conducting research on various socio-cultural aspects
of Ebola and the war against it. We intend this blog to reflect on some
issues that we are observing that may not be captured in the popular
media.
